Servaali Latvia and Servaali Lithuania starts cooperation with Põhjala Brewery

Servaali and Estonia’s leading craft brewery Põhjala are deepening their cooperation. Starting from January Servaali represents the brewery in all sales channels also in Latvia and Lithuania in addition to their successful cooperation in the Finnish market.

Põhjala is seen as the pioneer brewery of Estonia’s fast-growing craft beer culture that was totally wasted away during Soviet times. Its brew master Chris Pilkington has worked before at Brew Dog, which is one of world’s best-known craft breweries.

Handcrafted Põhjala beers are widely acknowledged and known especially for their high quality. The characteristic feature for Põhjala’s beers is that they are strongly hopped but still well balanced. The brewery locates in Tallinn and one its most famous products are Californian style wheat beer, powerful grapefruit IPA and modern interpretation of rye ale.

Differing from many other local Estonian craft breweries, Põhjala has already worked its way to the beer bar sector and is now making a strong move to start exporting to Europe and beyond.

Põhjala beers will be available through Servaali Latvia and Lithuania from the beginning of January 2016.
